Memorial Day-Baby Pool Time

This weekend was Memorial Day weekend, Mommy and Daddy started the weekend shopping for grills.  You were such a good girl in your stroller and looked so big sitting in it.

Sunday we went to Nani and Papa's house where they bought a new snake pool.  It was your first time in the pool and you liked it...for the most part. =)

Playing with your toys-17 weeks old

It seems like over night you started to really PLAY with your toys!  You reach for them when we are holding them out for you and you also pick them up when you are sitting in your bouncy chair or sitting propped up in the couch with us and you pick them up when you're laying down on your play mat.

4 months old...already?!

You are 4 months old...already!

You are becoming quite the little person...
-you do not like for Mommy to talk while she is feeding you, you like quiet calm, if Daddy talks you stop eating to see why he's talking
-you suck on your index finger and thumb at the same time, it's so funny
-you love you stuffed giraffe, we call her Raffe.  Mommy puts her on your lap when we're in the car and you hold onto her,you also nap with her too, you like to put her up against your little cheek. It's so cute!

16 weeks old

This week was a big week for you...
Mommy has been noticing that you have been SUPER hungry lately and waking up more often at night so I called Dr. Beardman's office to see if it was time to start a little cereal.  They said YES, so Daddy went out and got some oraganic rice cereal. (not sure if the organic mattered or not but it makes mommy feel better)  We started giving you 1tbsp last night and you seemed to really enjoy it.  You also slept for 6.5 hours, much better than normal.

Mommy's FIRST Mother's Day

Today was my first Mother's Day!  We still celebrated it by spending the day together and you got me some fun gifts.  You gave me the sweetest card, a Mommy & daughter willow tree figure, a pedi gift certificate AND best of all...a stepping stone for our yard with your hand and foot prints on it! =)

15 weeks

You are getting SO big, I know I say this every update but I just cannot believe how fast you are
growing, RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES!  
Some things you are LOVING-
your hands--you put them in your mouth,  and put them together
sounds we make--you love to  hear us make a clicking sound with our mouth as well as animal sounds
smiling--you have the BEST smile, you squeal at us when you are so excited
toys--you are starting to hold onto some of your toys and love to nibble on them too

Today while you were at Miss Denise's house she noticed you managed to pick up a toy and held onto it for awhile, she sent Mommy a picture of you doing it! I was SO EXCITED for you, and a tad jealous that I missed it...BUT once Mommy picked you up from Miss Denise's she was looking back at you on the way to Target and noticed you trying to pick up "Raffe" (your stuffed giraffe blanket)  Once we got to Target mommy just watched you and you did it, you picked up Raffe and of course, put her in your mouth! Yay big girl!
