It's a...

Today was Mommy's 19.5 week ultrasound. Daddy and I spent last night tossing and turning, very anxious to see you on the big screen. Lucky for us our appointment was first thing this morning so we got to start our day with seeing you! Because we were having the scan where Mommy and Daddy got to find out if you were a girl or boy and if you were growing like you should, they put us in a new room with a big screen tv on the wall so Mommy could see you really good. Once the Dr. put the tool on Mommy's belly we spotted you right away, you are no longer the little olive shaped baby, you are now the size of a cantelope and took up the screen. We could see you in Mommy's belly moving around, kicking your legs, and making a silly sucking face. We could already tell you are perfect! When it came time to find out what you were, Mommy was convinced the Dr. was going to say a little boy, but she said, "Congratulations, you guys are having a little girl!!!!" Mommy and Daddy were stunned (and still are) we just looked at each other, then back at you on that screen and held hands so tight I thought my fingers would fall off. Mommy cried and cried as the Dr told us you were perfect, she even said you have a "great brain". Daddy just smiled the whole time from ear to ear. Gosh we love you!!
This weekend we get to tell our friends and families that we are having a baby girl. We couldn't be more excited to share the news!

  1. Nani was so excited that you are a little precious girl like your mommy was. I had so much fun with her and I can hardly wait to enjoy you even more if that is possible.

    Love,
    Nani
