Halloween

Today was your first Halloween!  We started the day by delivering these yummy treats to your friends at Jen's!  Jen said everyone enjoyed eating your yummy snack after lunch!

After Jen's we went over to Nana and Papa's for pizza! 

Then we went to visit Great Grandma Doris at the nursing home where you went Trick-or-Treating.  You thought it was cool to grab the candy from the ladies.  We had such a fun day but by the end of the night my little poodle was pooped!



9 months old

You are 9 months old today!  Here are some things that you have been up too...
-EATING ( you LOVE all food and can't get enough)
-pulling up, you have using anything and everything to pull yourself up
-teething, as of right now you are working on the top 2 teeth
-staris, you have found them and are trying to make your way up (so far you have crawled up the first one)

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch! Nana, Papa and Daddy's friend Ricky and his daughter came too!  We had a lot of fun! You fed the animals and really loved the duck!

People Food & Fun at the Park

Well it's official...you are a "people food" eater!  No more pureed meals for you, you won't eat them!  For the past couple of days Jen and Mommy have been giving you whatever we are eating for meals and you eat so much better! You LOVE to "do it yourself".  I must say it has been easier not making all of your food in advance, and I like eating with you. =)

The weather has been so nice here lately so we went to the park over the weekend!

2nd Zoo trip

Today we went to the zoo!  It's is amazing the difference in you from our first visit early summer to now!  You really enjoyed yourself more this time, you liked the ducks the best lol.

Cousin visit, crawling and fun with friends!

Well it's official, you are a crawler.  For a couple of weeks you have been crawling but only using either your hands or feet, now you use both and crawl the traditional way.  Way to go big girl!
This weekend Aunt Kailea and Ashari were in town to celebrate grandma cook's 80th birthday! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

8 months old

You are 8 months old today!!!! I can hardly believe it, yes I know Mommy says this every month!

Here are some things you have been doing lately...
-you LOVE your activity table, you stand at it to play, we also take the legs off and you " crawl" towards it to play
-you LOVE to roll, you move all over and its so funny to watch you see something you want and go get it
-you've learned where the stairs are...luckily you cannot climb them just yet
-you are VERY curious, the other day you really wanted Nani Gina's shoes so I tried to "hide" them under the table, you definitly found them...TWICE
-you love to eat your fruits and veggies, your favorites at the moment are sweet potatoes with cinnamon, banana-plum with cereal, and peas & carrots
-you can't get enough puffs, cheerios and little pieces of finger foods, you are so fast at picking up the food and shoving it in your little mouth (see video below)
-you talk all the time, our conversations after daycare are my favorite, and I know we will continue to do this for many years to come
-you do the "mean" face also known as the turtle herder face when your mad or frustrated
-you think Elmo is AWESOME, Daddy put Elmo on the tv one day and you thought it was great
-you like to sleep on your belly now and you sleep from 730p-730a (it's amazing!)
-you suck your thumb when your sleepy and like that better than your binky
